Growth hormone-releasing peptide 6 (GHRP-6) is a synthetic compound that stimulates the pituitary gland to secrete growth hormone (GH). It's a synthetic met-enkephalin analog that contains unnatural D-amino acids, and is part of a group of compounds called growth hormone secretagogues. GHRP-6 has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antifibrotic effects, and can prevent hypertrophic scar formation.
